IEEE STUDENT CHAPTER

An IEEE Student Branch gives students a community of peers, and a connection to faculty and industry professionals who drive innovation in countless technical fields. Student involvement in Branch activities, whether special projects, social and technical meetings, outreach programs, conferences, local Section or Regional opportunities, etc. can help develop a record of accomplishment and capabilities beyond the norm.

STUDENT SELF GOVERNANCE

The objectives of self-governance for students include fostering independence, developing responsible decision-making skills, promoting a sense of community, enhancing leadership abilities, and preparing individuals for active participation in society after their college experience.

INNOVATION CLUB

To create awareness, educate, nurture and inculcate a culture of innovation amongst the students.

To enable them to generate new ideas and become more innovative.

To organize Interdisciplinary project exhibition.

To develop an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset. To provide opportunities for students to be engaged in innovative activities through creativity and technical workshops.

To provide a platform for students, teachers and other members of society to showcase their skills by creating new innovations and products.

CULTURAL
CLUB

Participation in cultural activities results in enhancement of the personal skills and experiences like confidence; self-presentation; teamwork and collaboration; time management and organizational skills; self-awareness; self-discipline; open mindedness to move beyond boundaries and experiment with different ideas; communication skills; the ability to cope with criticism and learn from them resulting in a whole new developed, changed and an improved person.

NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

The programme aims to instill the idea of social welfare in students, and to provide service to society without bias. NSS volunteers work to ensure that everyone who is needy gets help to enhance their standard of living and lead a life of dignity. In doing so, volunteers learn from people in villages how to lead a good life despite a scarcity of resources. it also provides help in natural and man-made disasters by providing food, clothing and first aid to the disaster’s victims.
